Banlist
Banlists allow you to manage and exclude specific users or addresses from earning points.
Overview
Our banlist feature provides a flexible way to prevent certain users from participating in your points program. This can be useful for:
- Excluding known bot accounts
- Preventing users who have violated terms of service
- Managing internal testing accounts
How It Works
When a user performs an action that would normally earn points:
- The system checks if the user’s identifier (handle, email, or address) is on the banlist.
- If the user is on the banlist, no points are awarded for the action.
- All other users continue to earn points normally.
Configuration
Banlists can be managed through our API. You can ban users based on:
- X Handle (Twitter username)
- Email address
- Blockchain address
- Discord Usernames
